These are my GtkRadiant for 32 and 64-bit linux. Because GtkRadiant 1.5.0 is unmaintained now, I replaced my builds with NetRadiant. The name has changed, but the program is still the same. I've added several game packs, including support for Tremulous.
Download
Get your version here:
netradiant-1.5.0-i686.tar.bz2
netradiant-1.5.0-x86_64.tar.bz2
If these files are out of date, try the downloads from Ingar's GtkRadiant 1.5 Page or this topic on the tremulous forum.
Dependencies
You will need to have the following packages installed on your system:
X11
OpenGL
Gtk/pango/cairo
gtkglext
expat
Installation Instructions
The included gamepacks assume your games are installed in /usr/local/games and the instructions will install gtkradiant in the directory /usr/local/games/netradiant-1.5.0. You can install gtkradiant anywhere you want (for example in your home directory or in /opt), but if your games or not in /usr/local/games you will have to edit the game files or symlink your games directory to /usr/local/games.
Start by going to the directory where you want gtkradiant installed and unpack the tar archive. There is no need to create a subdirectory, the files will be unpacked in a new one.
cd /usr/local/games
tar jxvf /home/ingar/netradiant-1.5.0-i686.tar.bz2
If your Tremulous directory is not /usr/local/games/tremulous, you will have to edit the game file. Open the file /usr/local/games/netradiant-1.5.0/games/trem.game in your favourite editor. Look for a line that says enginepath_linux and change it accordingly.
enginepath_linux="/usr/local/games/tremulous/"
Add a link for convenience, this way you can start radiant by executing radiant in a terminal, or with the run menu of your desktop environment.
cd /usr/local/bin
ln -s /usr/local/games/netradiant-1.5.0/radiant ./
To start radiant, run radiant from a terminal:
